How to Get to Koh Chang

Option 1: Air-conditioned Bus + Ferry

The most popular option for both Thai and international travelers. Use a single ticket: road transfer from Bangkok to Ao Thammachat Pier, then a seamless ferry crossing to Koh Chang.

• Departures from Khao San / Rama 9 around 08:00.
• Arrive at Ao Thammachat Pier about 13:30.
• Arrive at your hotel on Koh Chang about 14:30.

Book Bus + Ferry to Koh Chang

Option 2: Self-Drive

Approx. 320 km, driving time 5–6 hrs. Typical route: Bangkok → Motorway → Chonburi → Chanthaburi → Trat → the pier area.

🅿️ Secured parking is available at the piers (daily fee). You may leave your car on the mainland or take it aboard (pre-book vehicle slots on busy days).

Option 3: Flight + Road to the Pier

Fly Suvarnabhumi → Trat (TDX) with Bangkok Airways (~1 hr), then continue ~30 minutes by road to the pier and board the ferry to Koh Chang — ideal when time is tight.
