From Bangkok and Pattaya : The cheapest way is take one of the overnight buses leaves Khaosan Road morning about 05.00 and 08.00 and in the before noon and after noon an order arrives Trad (Leam sok pier), then take a Van / Bus and boat combo ticket can be arrange by travel on Khaosan Road for about 850 Baht all the way to Koh Kood and 750 Baht for Koh Mak.

Getting to Koh Kood and Koh Mak by self-drive is easier than you might imagine. It’s a straightforward drive. Companies such as Hertz or Budget Car Hire will provide a GPS in English which makes life much easier. But the majority of road signs are in English and Thai, so driving is pretty simple in Thailand. In brief . . . follow the Bangna-Trat road or motorway (Highway 7) out of Bangkok until you see Highway 344. Stay on the 344, looking out for police checkpoints as they like to stop drivers for no reason on this stretch of road. Join Highway 3 again near Klaeng and then, about 23km before Trat,Go stringht with 3148 and turn left at the T-junction with 3155, signposted to Laem Sok. 24 Kilomate or 50 mins later you’ll be at the leamsok pier and turn left to the next soi after pass The High season resort you will get the ‘Boonsiri Ferry Office’, known as Leam sok pier to most Thais. If you see the piere or Nang phraya pier please turn around and go ahead about 1 kilometer turn right in to the soi near Koh Kood Princess.
